South Carolina loves Obama, Scott loves Obama, Caroline Kennedy loves Obama, and so does Teddy Kennedy. I was admittedly straddling my love fence until I watched his acceptance speech last night, having trampled Hillary by more than 2:1. I’ve heard a lot this primary election about his great oratory skills, but his speeches just haven’t been doing much for me, not like the powerful speech I remember watching with my mouth wide open at the Democratic National Convention in ‘04.
But this time he caught me. He got me a little excited, a little pumped, a little ready to go out and vote. Here’s hoping he continues the momentum and that he doesn’t let the Clintons get the better of him and bring him down to the mud.
